This is a bowl of Old-Imari, made in the Genroku era (around 1700) in the Edo period. The decorative technique of the intertwining rings at the bowl’s border is called “Wa-tsunagi”. The pheasant standing at the blooming cherry blossoms is painted in “Some Nishiki” style in enamels and guilt on underglaze-blue.

江戸時代前期の元禄期（約1700年前後）に作られた古伊万里の作品です。周囲を連続する輪で透かし彫りする装飾技法は「輪繋透鉢」と呼ばれています。色絵と染付が融合した「染錦手」という手法で、咲き乱れる桜に佇むキジが描かれています。
